The Wits path was also my favorite when it comes to the puzzles. Except for that car-chase and Moon-Stone-Search in Monte Carlo and this Hot-Air-Balloon-Ride
The Team path was the funniest path for me. There are a lot of Situation where you can make fun out of Sophia and Nur-Ab-Sal.
And on the Wits path I mostly used the Suckerpunch whenever possible. I even did not like the fights in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. But atleast this one got the easiest Hot-Air-Balloon-Section.
It's also one of my favorites, even probably my favorite point & clic, and there is no Nostalgia here, as I never played it when I was a kid.
(I'm loving the game, but there are so many point and click I want to play, and life's short)
Btw: The path Sophia recommends depends on how you enter her lecture in New York (yes, there are 3 ways to get past Biff).
If you go for maximum Indie score, don't ever use the sucker punch. On the fists path, you have to beat up every foe (as well as finding the alternate options). I never made it, there are two extremely hard guards on Crete that I just could not defeat.
