Long loading times, hangs on "Hailing Starfleet" or loading for ship battles?

Hello,
Windows 10, 64 bit. 64GB ram, relatively new processor and decent video card (just in case anyone needed to know)
Starting last night I noticed the game was taking a very long time to load. Five, ten, fifteen minutes sometimes. Once in, things worked without issue.
Today, I have had issues with it hanging when trying to get into my Voyages "Hailing starfleet" would appear... indefinitely (or at least for two hours), requiring me to close the game and relaunch.
Once I was able to get in, when I selected my dilemma solution, it said there was a server error and it could not resolve my dilemma, then went back to the normal screen. I don't know if the dilemma was solved or not. I'm hoping it works correctly so I can recall my ship this time instead of running out Dilithium (again) due to the issue.

Similar issues exist with getting to Shuttle missions, starting new ones, and doing ship battles. With ship battles, it would hang on the start of a battle (Before the Intro animation). One attempt I gave it 8 minute before closing the app. Going back in, it shows I used up that battle attempt.
When I go to https://app.startrektimelines.com/player?client_api=20&only_read_state=true to pull down my JSON data for spreadsheet items, it is now hanging with the error of : "SyntaxError: JSON.parse: end of data after property value in object at line 1 column 97837 of the JSON data" the column number changes after each attempt.

I have emailed star trek support, but friends that play on their phones are not have any issues. Could this be an interface issue between Steam and Startrek's site?

Still having this issue, and it causes discord to have call lag times up to 3-5 seconds for sound.
