Difficulty in DLC..... what!?!?!?!
I'm in the beginning of the Raiders Camp mission to get the car.
The enemies in there are impossible.
They run twice my speed. They can almost one hit you. They have high defence. You attack one and another 3 come out of nowhere and attack you.

The game doesn't allow you anyway to grind to increase your abilities.
What you have you are stuck with.

I was playing on normal difficulty and lowered it to easy but still I'm being over run and simply cannot progress.

Yeah, yeah I know... it's a "git gud" me issue..... sure, sure.
But I would like to hear if anyone else feels the same.

Rage quit for now.

Our qa and some other people completed the campaign. So it is possible!
But I will forward it and we will look into it. Thank you!

Yes, the raider mission has a steep step in difficulty (compared to the original campaign) from the previous mission with just a bunch of melee mutants, but don't forget to bump your character stats and get good equipment from the previous map (and resell stuff to the camp to get ammo and best weapons). What can help too is lure one by one the raiders to traps.

Just completed that one. Certainly more challenging than the others no where near impossible. just need to take it slow and not engage multiple enemies at once.
Thanks for the feedback.
I tried my best by inching slowly while in stealth mode but as soon as I agro one enemy another two of his mates join in as well. I tried throwing grenades at them but they survive that and then just one hit me.
I would like to respec my characters as I guess they are probably all wrong for this mission especially, but that's not possible in the game.
In regards to traps. I don't have any and the trader had none to sell me. If there are pre-laid traps in this mission I haven't got far enough into the map to see them.
But you guys did it so I accept it's a me issue.

I might restart and try it again another day, but for now this mission is my brick wall moment. The dlc has become more frustrating than fun for me.

The main campaign was a total blast though.

If you want to respec, send me your save and I'll edit it to clear the spent points.

Thank you very much for the offer, that's very helpful of you.

But I have moved on for now. I have a lot of unfinished good games in my library atm.
I might give this dlc a replay later after taking a break.
FYI you can grind XP. Frogs and Cave dwarves do respawn. So you can go to the dungeon and west field and grind XP. There are also about 20 Frogs to the north from the main camp.

I'm at the Hidden Camp. The only option I have to leave this place is to go to the Raiders Camp, which is where I am having difficulty.

I cannot access any other areas.

Unless you mean I have to grind only at the time I was in those areas you mentioned?
Bit late for me now unfortunately.

That's odd. I can go to another location as soon as there is an exit to the world map. Try to move the map with left mouse button. And look for locations with green circles. Mobs respawn every time you visit a location. Except after the camp upgrade i didn't find those frogs at the camp anymore.

I have no exit to the world map.
I'm in about the third mission in the dlc. There is only an exit to the Raiders Camp.

Just to clarify, denivkon seems to be misunderstanding something and is talking about the main campaign, not the dlc.
