FIRST OFFICIAL DUSTWIND 2v2 LTS (Last Team Standing) TOURNAMENT!

Day of tournament: Sunday, Dec. 17th, 2017
Time of tournament start: 19:00 CET
(that equals 10:00 AM California time, use your search-engine-hacker-skillZ to find out what time it is in your city)

- The tournament goes single elimination style: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Single-elimination_tournament
- The tournament map is Arena_LTS
- Each team consists of 2 players (going solo is also ok if you are hardcore).
- Each match goes classic-style LTS for 7 rounds. Should the match end in a draw, an IMMEDIATE re-match will be played.

- Each team must have a captain.
- The captain MUST be reachable by the referees during the tournament on the official Discord channel (by chat is sufficient), for purposes of quick organization.
- The tournament prize are 2 free Dustwind keys (and eternal glooooryyyyyyyyyyyyy!). Each player of the champion team gets one key. Should a solo player (somehow) win the torunament, they get BOTH keys.
- Your clan allegiance etc. does NOT matter for the tournament - just split up in teams of 2 as you want.


- Each game will be hosted by one of the tournament referees. The referee will join one of the teams and kill their character, whose name will be "REFEREE", at the start of each round, and then spectate (technical neccessity). Noone moves before the REFEREE character has been killed. The spectacular, noticeable death of that character - and NOT the technical beginning of a round - is the "FIGHT!" signal.


- Lost connections, bugs, and other technical difficulties don´t grant re-matches etc..The referee can however decide to grant a rematch, or decide the winning team regardless of the actual scoreboard result (might only be necessary in super-freaky cases).
- The official discord channel can be used for comms. Each referee will be occupying one room in the dicord channel. Players can also all join that referee´s Discord room while they play - both of the teams at once, to have some good friendly laughs together (not a must; you can also be super-tactical and do private comms if you want).

Additional courtesy rules:

- Please don´t make other players wait! Each captain is responsible for their team showing up on time to each game. Should one of the teams or team members be unresponsive for longer than 5 minutes after the referee calls for assembly, then this team loses the match automatically, or the AFK player is kicked and the other has to play alone. Should the AFK player be the captain, the team loses automatically even if his teammate was ready. It is in judgement of the referees alone to decide when it´s the case.

- Should one team be short on players then the referee hosting the match can join that team, if all players in that match agree.



P.S. - if this works out well, we will do 3v3 and then hopefully even larger teams :)

Great. Just great.

So I got GANG BEASTS the other day and it totalled my PC. That POS game nixxed my hard drive/graphics card...

So I wont be able to play until I get things fixed, probably next year...anyways, just wanted to wish y'all the best of luck. I just gifted this game to my stepson so he can take my place. :)
