Scrolling Speed

It's so fast, im using the map to move my camera, but sometimes i forget and then boom, im in the other side of the map, anyone know how to fix it?

I think this didn't happend in the original game. It doesn't happens, however, with the keyboard's cursors. Big bug..

i hope they fix it AND add supposrt for bigger resulotions then the games natine 640x480 or 600x800

You're probably asking for too much with resolution changes to a 17 year old game. The scrolling speed issue though, I hope they fix that one. If you set it to 1 it improves it slightly but it's still far too fast.

Running MR.exe under Windows 95 compatibility mode. it seems to have help some.

Yeah, i saw, but it happens sometimes, i figured it out. When you open any menu, like construction menu, you will get that annoying speed again, but when you close it, then, it will be slow again.

HEY GUYS! I FOUND A FIX!

I've uploaded this archive in my mega.nz, but i found it in gamecopyworld.

Just follow these steps:

1º Download it:
https://mega.nz/#!rcpGWY6D!a0GgGPJgcMeG3EMY5rjHgwegDyB2XH7RAymBSq0WbZ4

2º Open with any RAR Program

3º Go to SWPATCH.ACE into RAR

4º Copy that inside file "Sw.exe" and paste into ur Mob Rule Directory

5º Execute the game with Sw.exe

6º Play and don't forget to thanks me :D

It just have ONE problem! Doesnt seems to be able to play that Skirmish Mode (i figured it out now)

I found a way to lock ur screen, so, when you put the mouse at corners, it will not get you to the hell, anyway, to do this, its simple, you just open "SYSTEM" archive with Notepad in Mob Rule Directory in the SETTINGS folder, then you edit AutoScroll, it will be AutoScroll=No

Eu fiz umas pesquisas e achei esse método na Internet, então fiz o upload do arquivo na minha conta do Mega.

Portanto, se você estiver com problemas assim como eu tive de velocidade do mouse, siga o passo-à-passo:

1º Baixe o RAR no link:

2º Abra o arquivo RAR

3º Vá ao diretório SWPATCH.ACE dentro do RAR

4º Copie o arquivo "Sw.exe" e cole no diretório do seu Mob Rule (é como se fosse um crack)

5º Execute o jogo pelo Sw.exe

6º Dê play e depois me agradeça :D

Isso aparenta ter um ÚNICO problema! Que é não permitir que você jogue o modo Skirmish (eu percebi isso agora)

Can someone please confirm if this fix it or at least ... not a malware ? Btw how do I play in windowed mode ? I can do it with Constructor from gog by using DOSBox

How i said before bro, its not a full fix, it just let you play the Campaign without any scrolling problems, since when you do this steps, you will play the SW2 (Street Wars 2) and not Mob Rule, theres a big difference, cuz Mob Rule have that Campaign and Skirmish Mode and Street Wars 2 have just the same Campaign but without the Skirmish.

If you are aware to download, just scan the file in the www.virustotal.com/en/

And if you want me to scan, just tell me.

It's normal bro. I found this fix in this site, and when i saw it, i was a bit "wary" about what this archive was hiding, cuz this guy was posting in every GOG Forum about it. Anyway, i've tested and yeah, really works. I've saved in my MEGA, cause maybe in the future, this file will not be found anymore (link broken, server shutdown) idk.
