Init failed could not load game

So i download the demo extracted the file and it gave me an error message saying "Init failed there is no game file or the game file is corrupted." and a another window from the game that if i click on it a small black horizantal bar appears on the top left of my screen and then i can only move my mouse.What do i do?
Also i forgot to say i bought and downloaded that game and got the same result

OK a possible problem is that you may be using a laptop? And it is defaulting to the intel graphic cpu. You will need force the use of your external graphics with either the nvidia or Radeon control panel. Some computers also you can right click and choose the graphic card you want to use.

Im using my PC Samsung Laptop, Windows 10 ,intel core i7 and it says i have AMD Radeon graphics. And im looking at tutorials online and they all right click to graphic proprties but i don't have a such thing.

And it says the graphics card im using is "microsoft basic display adapter"

also a long time ago i was having alot bugs with windows 10 updates so i remember i turned off the updates and had a computer get rid of the updates it already had. Would that affect the running of this game?

Ok so it is defaulting to your onboard graphics it seems, this is why it is probably not working. You should be able to go to your AMD control panel, and force open paradigm with it. SO check out this link

i dontsee anything in my computer resembling the AMD control panel just a defult looking control panel with systeam and security ,network and internet ,hardware and sound etc. And when i search for Radeon Settings nothing in my computer shows up, just suggested search results. Do i have to download something for it? I mean right on my computer theres a sticker on the bottom right of the laptop keyboard saying "AMD Radeon graphics " along with side sync and energy star and intel inside core i7.Based on that i assumed i had the Amd graphics.Maybe theres softward to download because i have no clue. Maybe i should call the geek squad

Hmm there is a possibility that some how your drivers for it got uninstalled if it says it on your computer. Try going here and download the drivers http://support.amd.com/en-us/download This should automatically detect it on your system and if you need it.

Alternatively if you want to go the whole nine yards as a last resort you can put your computer back to factory state (just how you bought it) However I would only recommend this if you have nothing you NEED on your computer.

Hopefully you can avoid the geek squad because I know it get get pricey quick. Hopefully this helps you.

alright its working now i downloaded the thing ran the game and it works but now the game only takes up an odd 3/4 of the sceen even with the full screen in options is whited out and also the top of the title of the options screen is clipped out. Its as if the took the display of the full screen moved it 2 inches left and 2 inches up then locked it into place

Its possible you have a high res screen. (sounds like you have a high end laptop, so likely) Please follow the first FAQ on this page http://www.paradigmadventure.com/support You need to disable the High DPI scaling in the properties of the paradigm.exe in the compatibility tab.
