A little tip for Lord of Metal achievement

If you die too many times in a level you can select restart chapter and your death counter will be reset to whatever it was when you started the chapter. A little cheap maybe, but hey the game allows it, and it does force you all the way back to the start of the level.

It doesn't reset the timer though, so this can't be used for the speedrun achievement. As a small suggestion I think the game should display your death count when you press esc, just like it displays your current time.

EDIT: You can also use restart from checkpoint if you're about to die but haven't died yet. This won't increase the death counter either.

My first playthrough now and definitely want to try to go for those achievements once I finish the game. May even do a second playthough to better familiarize myself with the game before I go for it. Will definitely make use of your tips if I need too!

yes you can. Also if you upgrade a weapon and regret it, you can restart the chapter and start with whatever amount of blood medals you started with before you blew a bunch of upgrades.
