What language do the woads speak?

They say something to the player. Just wondering, if it is some kind of gobbledygook or human language.

The Woad speak Woadese. It is a made up language, like Shyriiwook (language of Whookies) and the sounds you hear are just representational... heard, and poorly at that, by the father and then conveyed to you.

Here is more or less what they are saying...


Woad on Bridge with dying mate...
"Hold. Enough bloodshed. I will put away my weapon. Pass. I am no threat."

Woad in camp with dying friend, after you offer him something...
"Thank you. May the forest keep you."

Woad in library with staff and guard
"Stay. Come no further."

... after shown Woad Kipu ...
"Friend. You are welcome. Go forward. May the forest keep you."

Woad guard if you fight...

"With honour."
