Half Life is the most iconic franchise Valve has.
Both of those games are way bigger and better and more known than Ricochet. People from the 2000s enjoyed this game when it released, but it seems to have been forgotten about now.
Seriously: ask any FPS gamer if they've heard of Counter Strike, Half Life or Ricochet. Chances are that they've heard of the first two and would rate them above Ricochet.
You're totally right
Ricochet could've been more popular if people played it more and it would still be played today, maybe Valve would see the potential and would've made Ricochet Source, or Ricochet 2 or something we never know
But never mind, i was just sharing some thoughts
Ricochet following the path of Counter Strike would've been cool!
It's okay
Yeah that would have been cool but it's not a bummer, at least there's some players that plays the game sometime and Valve didn't shut the servers down
Im pretty sure if they did like TF1/TF2 was, it would be so awesome
A F2P game with the actual graphics and more content etc
Ricochet is alright though it's a bit minimalist.
