1st You need full soldier loyality, Military Power dosent count as far as i know, but better have an good military. DONT USE THE MILITARY OPTION THE FIRST 2 EVENTS! Unless you have no other choice then resign.
2nd You need good KGB Power, and KGB loyality for the first 2-3 events.
3rd The Population likes you, so you can start an "curtual revolution" but i think you need to be stalinist for this.
4th Have many allies and good loyality to your warsaw pact nations, so you can call their help in the 3rd or 4th event.
With this you can manage OGAS pretty well
This is why you need more than just one pillar of support. I usually get by having the loyalty of the soldiers, the KGB, and the people as a Stalinist. I think you could theoretically use KGB twice, but be careful - weakening their opponents just makes them stronger. Just try to have as much range of motion as possible and as many solid allies as possible before starting.
To ensure the loyalty of your key allies, soldiers' living should be at 100 and KGB enveloppes should be at 40. It's not necessary to have the people's support as long as you refrain from using soldiers and KGB for anything other than the events related to ASAS (crushing separatists, eliminating dissenters, crushing a faction, etc.).
Each time an action requires the help of the soldiers or the KGB, their loyalty will fall. Since the success of ASAS requires their loyalty to remain high, it is essential to "save" their high loyalty for the ASAS events.
Use the KGB during the first two events and then the soldiers for the last. You can use the people if they're willing to follow your leadership, but it's safer and easier to ensure the support of the soldiers and the KGB.
I got the possibility of convincing the Party with a very convincing speech once, but I don't know what enabled that option to be available (maybe because I had trotskyists and deification? I'm not sure).
In order to use one organisation aganst the other, they need to have high loyalty and be stronger than the intution you're attacking.
