Update on the tile swaping problem.
I recently downloaded the game to my laptop to see if that would fix the issue and I only installed the Corpse Mod since I didn't need any extra campaigns.

Turns out it start happening again and when I removed it, it stopped. So mu conclusion is that there's something wrong with that addon that is overwriting tiles. So as of now I would recommend not installing Corpse Mod (Corpse Mod 2 in the mod selection) until further notice unless you want random tiles that can completely break the immersion and gameplay of a scenario

Hey,
I am the author of corpse mod and would like to know what exactly the problem is.
Can you give me a map, in which you tried the modification? There is an option I, by now, have turned to "off by default", which did indeed change tiles. Regardless, I will try to release a fixed version asap, but i need the map (can also be chapter of senario IG), in which the bug accures.
Also, Feedback to the corpse mod should be submitted to the wesnoth forums or be directed to me as a private message there.

Okay, so as a fix, I've changed the way my add-on works, so that you need to download a seperate mod, which allows for change of terrain. I did it for people, who just want to see corpses lying around and not get thier game broken by some mod.

Uh from what I know, it happens on any map you load, except for the first map if you start a scenario. I remember I used the Scepter of Fire to check if a vanilla campagin was safe but it didn't work

It seems like the internal events for the water tiles weren't deleted after the scenario and it basically tried to place the blood-tiles of the last scenario further, even though the map is completely different. I've fixed it now. While i was playing campaigns, it didn't happen to me tough. Anyway, my mod should work for campaigns now.

Well I've had it copy over titles for enemies who don't bleed so I'm not sure
