yes i agree and thats why i like the game.
Warsong was my favorite game as a kid and the first two games (second of which was first partially fan-translated in the late '90s) are eternal classics for me. I also loved Master of Monsters, though, which was the primary inspiration for Wesnoth.

But Warsong/Langrisser is indeed wonderful and so many more games should use its brilliant commander revision mechanic. I was so spoiled by that series that I was never able to enjoy Fire Emblem, despite trying so many of them from different generations.
