Searching for a long campaign
Hello!

I remember that years agil I have played a very long BfW campaign with dozends of scenarios and extended levelling of units.
During the campaign they got extremely powerful and I got very sad when loosing one of them. :D
Unfortunately I cant remember any details.. just this and that it was a lot of fun!

Do you have tips for a campaign like this?

Thx in advance!

Legend of the Invicibles?

That definitely sounds like Legend of the Invincibles. Should be on the default Add-On Server.
Another great long Campaign i thoroughly enjoyed was Invasion from the Unkown, though its not anywhere near LotIs level of crazy. Dont think anything really compares.

The Rise of Wesnoth and The Legend of Wesmere were both quite long (18-20 scenarios). I was able to level up dozens to max level by the end. I especially liked The Legend of Wesmere. The leveled-up druids are extremely handy. They start out very weak, but turn into a very mobile flying unit with healing and stun. Emphasis on leveled up. Starting out, you will probably lose as many as you promote. Keep them coming until you have 8-10 leveled up to max. They are especially nice in tight spots or restrictive terrain, with almost no movement penalties. Scout in pairs so they can heal each other.

I tend to save and reload when hiring new units, until I get the stats that I want... mainly hit points and main weapon/spell boost, if I remember right, so that they had a better survival rate.
