Map Items

Is there a way to know if something on the Map is meaningful or just pretty? It is frustrating to try and figure out if here is a reason to go to a particular hex which has a lighthouse, windmill, potion bottle, etc... to know if it is something. Guessing there is an overall list somewhere I am just missing...

Just says "Semi-Dry Grass" and "Flat". What I am looking at in particular is in the "A Strategy of Hope" Scenario of the "Liberty" campaign. In the bottom left is something which looks like a Potion. Does nothing if anyone other than Harper steps on it and grants him +1 HP. But AFAIK there is no way to tell it is "special" without walking exactly the right unit over it.
