- Plan Unit Advance (very helpful in on MP servers)
- Unit Marker modification (fun in campaigns to identify your units)
- XP Mod (allows you to advance your units better)
- Slider Mod (gives you a lot of control over the stats of units in the game)
Another fun one is Invisible Enemies which makes fighting the AI a real challenge xD
Some people also like playing with Less Random, Deterministic Offence, or No Randomness Mod in campaigns.
Also if you go on the official wesnoth forums (forums.wesnoth.org) you will probably get more responses. :)
It allows you to steal enemy weapons on kill and equip things on units that are not supposed to be using them, but the "buggy" part is that in campaigns it will duplicate weapons at the start of each map, so if you get your hands on a great weapon you can easily equip it on multiple units after just a few more maps.
It's fairly nice to be able to give even a basic bow to melee-only units or to be able to give your old lance to a different unit after ranking up but if you abuse the duplication bug you can end up with seriously OP units.
If you want OP units it's better to use the slider mod and to set the exp required slider to -50%, getting max level units in 2-3 maps.
(of course that's not the only use for the slider mod, it's great for many different use cases, including giving a significant boost to the health of units for all sides to lessen the "ganging up" strategies for example).
now, it cannot be downloaded from within the game, it has to be downloaded manually
