If I remember correctly it should be:
Pizza Syndicate(US) = Pizza Connection (Ger)
Fast Food Tycoon 2(US) = Pizza Connection 2 (Ger)

@Joker & Steffen: I think you are both right and wrong. Steffen is right because this is the same game as Fast Food Tycoon 2 but he used the wrong name ;)
And Joker is right because he compares it with Pizza Tycoon / Pizza Connection 1 and I agree, that the first game is better but he is wrong because this is the official successor of Pizza Syncdicate :)

"Pizza Syndicate" (1999) is the predecessor of "Pizza Connection 2" (2001) and the sequel of "Pizza Connection 1" (1994).
These games belongs all to the "Pizza series" by Software 2000 which was a german development team.
Pizza Connection 2 is the third game in the Pizza series, but it is more a sequel to Pizza Syndicate than to the original Pizza Connection from 1994.

It even use the same company logos in game and the very similar Pizza editor, just with more serious graphics.

And Pizza Connection 3 by Assemble Entertainment was more a cash grab then a true sequiel to the Pizza series by Software 2000.

But Pizza 3 is not a complete disaster like Airline Tycoon 2 was by Kalypso.

has plenty of charm yeah graphics dated BUT NOTHING COMES CLOSE TO GAME PLAY PIZZA CONNECTION 3 IS A DISASTE REALLY RWEALYL BAD GAME PIZZA CONNECTION ONE IS ALSO GOOD but i find 2 better. its the same with SETTLERS 2 GOLD THE BEST SETTLERS GAME THERE WILL EVER BE

Pizza Syndicate is indeed another game than Pizza Connection. I remember having both, one was a CD and one a box version. The person who said one could play several cities at once is also correct. In Pizza Syndicate you play the entire world instead of one city. There was a larger focus on making the game funny too. And it had more details in general, like for example several different banks with different themes/personalities/interest rates to loan money from. Different music in the restaurant jukebox and different types of commercials that then could also be targetted at certain audiences.
