It temporarily makes the more aggressive bots (like those outside the pawn shop with the baseball bats) move away when hit. You seemingly cannot make them completely shut off or reprogram them with enough hits, so I don't know why you'd need more than 50 at the current moment unless you make it a fair ways into survival mode and are at risk of dying if struck, and honestly it just seems more worthwhile to just keep some vitamins on-hand then try to continue fighting them, especially since looting the garbage outside the pawn shop isn't really all that time-consuming.

Its for your gun. You carry a flashlight and a rubber band gun. You also have to buy batteries for your light.
