Movie theater issues. Please help!!

I created the devotid and TCG_Videos folder and it still won't work. I'm not sure why. The files are MP4 (.264 and mp3 sound) and it just says EMPTY every time. I have been trying to fix this for hours. Help!

Did you create them under "documents"?
Like C:\Users\<yourname>\Documents\devotid\TCG_Videos

Because I just tried it and it works fine.

It does work properly if you set it up as the DEV states. Works fine for me. Can even watch my movie from my house on the tv with my goose. :-)

If the screen reports "Empty", then The Coin Game is not recognizing the video folder. Can you provide us with the full file path of the folder that your videos are placed in?

To take a shot in the dark: if you are running The Coin Game on Mac, Linux, or Steam Deck (anything other than Windows), then the folder location you want is going to be different because it runs through Proton. This has been covered before, here.

hmmm steam deck here, mine got access to the folder and I saw the filename pop up after barry's and food ads but it didn't play the video, sad. youtube video ripped to mp4. Scar, it plays at the house too? I want to get this working

perhaps bad codec for the game?
Edit: Well it actually plays on the TV now? not sure if it will at the theater but awesome
