Some casino games would be a great addition
I would love some craps in the game. Or blackjack.

Maybe make a seperate casino area yes, with some gambling games and slot machines. I hope the dev considers that.

But since the protagonist seems to be underage he would have no access to gambling halls (at least not in my country). Where all that remains are gambling halls :( No more real arcade, yes one or two at the coast... And once a year when there are fairs(but due to covid some did not even happen).

a good poker or black jack can be a whole game on its own
so Im all positive having something like that in this game

The game could have the player switch to the limo driver for the casino stuff. As though he's killing time while the teens are playing put-put or whatever...

there are casinos here you can enter with 16 not because of the gambling and rather because of it selling alcohol and you need to be 16 to be legally allowed to drink a beer
but anyways why does it have to be IRL blackjack or poker? We already got some kinda roulette over at billies
so why not make a kid friendly version of black jack

I understand what the original post is saying.... Dang that would be fun.

I kinda think Kevin doesn't want to bridge Casino Gambling into the Fun Arcade theme setting what the game was meant for. He's skilled though, maybe he will think of something.

To be honest, those claw games feel like a worse form of gambling than shooting some dice or dealing some cards. Let alone the drop ball games. Some casino games would at least make the probabilities clear, and they would teach unfamiliar people that even though it is fun you will lose in the long run.

That said, I can see it might give the impression that the game is trying to branch out into into some kind of 'freemium' model that wants to sucks you into genuine gambling for money. That would kill the game.

Not sure where you are from but here in the USA the legal age for drinking and gambling is 21. Where is roulette located at Bill's? "Kid friendly blackjack"??? Seriously, what planet are you on?
I know USA has 21 but that shouldnt be the standard everywhere

the roulette at billies is the machine where you bet on either red green blue yellow and the ball rolls
its literally roulette

I see a kid friendly black jack working easily

There are many other games already doing this... GTA 5 Casino, Poker Club is mainly what i would point at.

I would love a casino building with slots, roulette, blackjack, poker, horse racing. you could even dress the robots up in their little vests and ties. We could just bet tickets instead of $

I think some casino games could be a nice addition. I get that they don't exactly fit in with the arcade style aesthetic, but they could have their own separate area like the carnival games. You could have a faux casino where chips are traded in for tickets or prizes, rather than cash. Slot machines and video poker would not have to change much, as they could be made to pay out in tickets instead of cash or credit. Also, you can already buy scratch cards in game, which is literally gambling, so I don't think it's too much of a stretch.

In a addition a slot machine could be turned into a game of skill, by allowing the player to stop each wheel individually. Then it becomes a matter of timing, rather than luck, to get the symbols to line up. I'm not sure how kid-friendly blackjack would work, but it would be interesting to see. I also think Bingo could fit well within the game.

Go play with the gambling addicts on tower unite. The main character is a kid doing kid ♥♥♥♥. Last I checked gambling isn't something you do as a kid.

I adore casino games as much as the next man, but given the whole appeal of this game is to build up the old school kids-gaming experience, mayhaps that's something for the far future if anything? I wouldn't be opposed to a casino on the island, but I'd also prefer just more arcades, an amusement park, bowling alley, etc. first.

My idea was that you flip to playing the limo driver, who is killing time while the kids are in the amusement park. To ensure casino games do not drown out the core content of the game, perhaps your time playing as the limo driver could be restricted relative to the main character (the driver is on call after all).

I'm not after a simulation of a true gambling experience (I'm in the UK and it is very easy to gamble online here if you want to - personally, I am not interested in that). I just find that casino games have some really interesting features.
