But since the protagonist seems to be underage he would have no access to gambling halls (at least not in my country). Where all that remains are gambling halls :( No more real arcade, yes one or two at the coast... And once a year when there are fairs(but due to covid some did not even happen).
so Im all positive having something like that in this game
but anyways why does it have to be IRL blackjack or poker? We already got some kinda roulette over at billies
so why not make a kid friendly version of black jack
I kinda think Kevin doesn't want to bridge Casino Gambling into the Fun Arcade theme setting what the game was meant for. He's skilled though, maybe he will think of something.
To be honest, those claw games feel like a worse form of gambling than shooting some dice or dealing some cards. Let alone the drop ball games. Some casino games would at least make the probabilities clear, and they would teach unfamiliar people that even though it is fun you will lose in the long run.
That said, I can see it might give the impression that the game is trying to branch out into into some kind of 'freemium' model that wants to sucks you into genuine gambling for money. That would kill the game.
the roulette at billies is the machine where you bet on either red green blue yellow and the ball rolls
its literally roulette
I see a kid friendly black jack working easily
I'm not after a simulation of a true gambling experience (I'm in the UK and it is very easy to gamble online here if you want to - personally, I am not interested in that). I just find that casino games have some really interesting features.
