Game not responding, how do i fix?

For my system: i use windows 8.1 on a parallels virtual box
I just allowed it to use more space so the coin game could work better/less lag ( i had it on the lowest quality setting and it still lagged alot)
And now for some reason the game wont work. What it does is it freezes, says its not responding, and then i need to close the game. Im going to try a windows 10 virtual box too but can anyone help me fix this?

Edit: i get a GLdriverquery64.exe has stopped working too. Is that the issue?

i just bought the game a couple days ago and have not been able to play it yet because it always says it wont respond

I got it to work by uninstalling then reinstalling it, warning that the lag is emense, put it at old laptop setting helps tho

These are the recommended specs. you're probaly getting lag because you're using windows 8.1

It take some time to load, but if you start clicking when it loads windows will tell you it stopped responsing, but its still loading. Just wait and it will load.

For me holding alt when you start the game lets you change the resolution and settings, makes a huge difference on older machines. Mine was defaulting to 4k and that was not ok even for my mid grade card. Great game though.

For some reason when i hold alt it doesn’t work. Im using a mac and parallels is what im using to play this, and i try to hold down my alt but it wont work.

hold alt while launching game, I press and hold alt then press play from steam. This is where I would suggest to the dev to have a in game menu for changing resolution and other related settings!

also maybe this will help. hard to say with a vm on a mac, but maybe the key is not registering as the same for windows. This link will help you make a binded alt key and try, but I don't have any other ideas beyond that.

Tysm! This helped alot!
The game still lags a bunch but so far not as much as before. Ill have to try Windows 10 again but from using it, it didnt matter because it still lagged a ton. Still this helped loads, tysm!

I just got the game today and I’m having the same problem. I turned down the graphics to old laptop (because my laptop is old) and let it sit and not do anything. There’s still nothing. I don’t know if it’s on my end. If I’m not on the game my computer isn’t slow. Also it goes to a black screen after awhile so I don’t know if it’s trying to load. Does anybody have any suggestions?
