I played it for a while to get a win (to remember how to do it), then started screencapping each time after that to get some useful info about the positioning.

Several screencaps later (and much dinero), I won again and here are the screencaps from that turn:

You have to line it up exactly by eyeing it.
Not impossible, but very difficult.

I've only messed with it a few times and think I won one or two times.
If it didn't cost as much, it would be easier to learn the sweet spots.
But at $5 a pop, it really costs too much to bother trying to learn.

In a sense, it's very much like learning when to hit a ball in pinball to go up a specific ramp, or when to drop the ball in Wormhole or Mega Drop.

But with the combination of needing an exact point each time and the cost of the attempt, you can't repeatedly bang your head at it until you find the aha! moment like you can with the other games.

about where roughly are you trying to line it up at? just centering it on the outline?

100 tickets for $5 is ridiculous. I can get like 3000 on black hole for $5

I agree. I think it should cost probably $1.
Even if you won every time, you still wouldn't get more than 100 tickets per $1.

Maybe have each one have a random prize amount, like the ducks? Ranging from like 50 tickets to 1000 tickets?

Now that is a fantastic idea

i think the upper 2 sets gets a must higher ticket amounts.. it has bronze, silver and gold colours on the boxes

the bottom boxes will give the lowest amount because it's easier to get... whats the point making the games payout the highest amounts on a easier parts. it'll make it way to easy to get tickets..

i prefer keeping it realistic
