you don't need a list of games that have pretty women in them, you need to get a life outside of buzzwords and groupthink
aaaaaand :Post Comment:
I can only hope that grifters and non-gamers never show their faces again, or I might just have to enter 1-UP mode

i don't watch any such videos, so maybe you should come up with some legit counterpoints besides "lol u watch too many videos" and "lol ur just a horny teenager" and actually come up with a good reason for this pseudo-censorship. Or maybe you should actually prove your point by listing mainstream western games with sexy girls in them.
There's nothing immature or stupid about enjoying your sexuality. If you can't control your own urges and feel "embarrassed" about them, that's YOUR problem.
Reminder that Sony censored the Kandawa Jet Girls game so hard that it became meaningless. Even though they let similar games by the same company go by just fine in the past. They aren't even a western company. But sure, nothing is changing.
The problem with me listing those games is once I list some you are just going to say they don't meet your criteria for "sexy". You also overly narrowed your range for no reason whatsoever by saying only "western" games and yet still the vast majority of the remaining games that actually have women in them have fairly sexy ones. Nearly every western RPG where you can play as a girl has you play as someone who could easily be a model (Bioware RPGs for example). Oftentimes the character creator sliders don't even give you enough freedom to make the character especially ugly even if you want to for some reason. In addition we still have games like Mortal Kombat and Tomb Raider coming out. As well as games in other genres like Spellforce 3, even if they stopped featuring scantily clad girls on the cover like the past 2 games. If you want more examples, this whole thread is filled with people sharing large amounts of examples of a subject that is supposed to be very rare according to them.
It's actually harder to name games with women as major characters who look kind of plain, or even outright ugly, and every time a game DOES come out like that, there is always outrage from anti-SJW types who can't accept that maybe they simply aren't in the demographic being appealed to. Whenever I ask for examples of games with ugly girls in them, I always get the same 2-5 games mentioned, and The Last of Us 2 is always one of the first mentioned. If it really was a major problem all throughout the industry, you'd think maybe I wouldn't be hearing Last of Us 2 in every discussion where someone seems to be pulling their hair out over SJWs ruining gaming.
If you are specifically requiring that the women in question be barely dressed, that's a different discussion, and also a stylistic choice that tends to only appeal to a small demographic while turning off other demographics, making them less marketable than if you just gave them normal clothing. Those games do still come out though to appeal to that niche, but it seems like anti-SJW types are angry they don't make up the overwhelming majority of games with women in them.
I've said it before, but the actual problem is not a lot of triple A games have a lot of girls in them to begin with. Very few have them as playable characters, and a surprising number of games come out with no women or almost no women in them at all. Lower budget indie games are more likely to have female protagonists, but they are also more likely to end up with poor graphics that makes trying to make them look like models a pointless task.
It's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awful is what it is lmao. I thought it'd at least be satirical but no it's just awful.
laughable, cowardly response.
I said western games because I know you would pick a bunch of popular pseudo-hentai asian mobile games and go "haha, see? gotcha". (that's actually not why, but this is about equivalent to the bullcrap you just spewed about why you wont list games. the real reason is simply because the SJW "problem" is much more prevalent in the West.)
bioware games? you mean andromeda and inquisition which both had noticably uglier characters than the previous games in their series? seriously, i own inquisition and its nearly impossible to make an attractive character of any race or gender. not to mention the NPC friends in both of those games are horrifying.
tomb raider, which has a noticably more plain lara than the previous games in the series before the reboot?
Mortal Kombat X, which has noticably more plain women than the previous games in the series, and blatantly made all their costumes cover more skin even if it was impractical? (frankly mortal kombat has always had ugly characters. the women had outrageous proportions in the past, but i honestly think that was due to lack of talent)
Spellforce is far from mainstream. I've never even heard of it outside of steam ads.
It seems to me that YOU are the one who has been drinking too much kool-aid.
And now we are narrowing the criteria down to "popular" games. There's plenty of western porn games on Steam, and if you look at indie games, there's plenty that try to straddle the line at being porn like Dragon's Crown, so yeah, no wonder you try to narrow it down to popular games.
I wasn't aware those two were the only Bioware games developed.
Andromeda, which had a plagued development behind the scenes and outsourced it's character design models to cut costs and they basically just scanned models and did almost nothing to touch up their ingame look. This occasionally causes them to have real glitchy looking character expressions with eye movements that don't match their ingame models. It seems like 95% of the reason the characters look bad is because the devs simply botched up character designs rather than a purposeful decision.
I don't know much about Inquisition, but a quick google search shows me people have no problem using the character designer to create women in TV shows and movies.
You mean one who possibly has more porn of her than classic Lara does? Seems like a huge amount of fans actually think she's hotter.
Are we talking about what characters wear, or what they look like? Because Mortal Kombat has if anything sexed up some characters actual character designs such as Mileena who went from nightmare face to simply having teeth in her cheeks. Kitana's character design has her looking hotter than most asian actresses. The rest are more or less up to individual tastes. If you never thought the MK women were sexy, than holy ♥♥♥♥ are you setting the bar at an unreasonably high extreme, which explains a lot actually.
As for their outfits, so what? A character can still be good looking without being nearly nude.
Lemme know if you get tired carrying that goalpost further and further alright.
I mean I'm not the one thinking there is an SJW conspiracy to make women in video games look ugly dog. Video game publishers simply meet market demands. The fact we are seeing more women in video games and more often they aren't scantily clad is simply because the consumer demographics have changed. The ultra sexualized women in video games still exist to meet the former niche demographic, but they aren't nearly every portrayal of a woman in video games like before.
We are talking about actual games here bro.
Oh man, I love them as bullet hell shmups. Fair enough if you're not in that genre, but they'er really solid shmups regardless of the tity. Most of the other stuff listed in this thread is honestly hot garbage to play.
