Bloody Moon?

I found a 1-star Bloody Moon sword with ATK 1. But it costs 3500 mana to upgrade. Can someone tell me what you get when you upgrade it?

IMO, nothing happens. Save your Mana for Big Bro's Hammer in the last stage. That weapon is OP as all hell.

Its said that you can "store" mana on it but i only got 40000 back from a lvl max discard, so just get the 999 hit combo vs the chickens and move on

Big Bro's Hammer? Where is that thing? Stronger than the two Weapons from the "Boss Rush"?

It's in the lower right corner of the last area (sorry, forgot it's name - something Decayed). The room is one of those long vertical ones, but you have to run through two other rooms to get to the lower right corner of the previously mentioned. I'll have to look back at my VOD to give you a more accurate description.

All right, found it, and i am pretty sure, i have found it in NG too. But i don't see why this Weapon is so OP, so i sold it in NG, i guess.

I read it is a radom base stat item that has an average of 200 damage. What's the damage on the hammer? Also that the mana battery thing is right, and this is for getting a 999 hit combo.

So 1 star is 2500 mana
upgrading to 2 star costs 3500 and yields 2500 mana, loss of 1000 mana.
upgrading to 3 star costs 6000+3500 and yields 10000 mana, loss of 2000 mana.
upgrading to 4 star costs 11000+6000+3500 loss of 3000 mana
Upgrading to 5 star loss of 5000 mana

with Forger upgrade costs are reduces

5. 17600

gains/losses are as follows

1 star 2500 mana
2 star loss of 300 mana over 1 star
3. gain of 300 mana over 1 star
4. gain of 1500 mana over 1 star
5. gain of 3900 over 1 star.

so you pick up about 4000 mana upgrading it, if you have forger upgrade. otherwise you lose mana and should just dispose it for the 2500.

Forger claims to be a 20% cost reduction in upgrade costs. linked post upgrade costs are obsolete. but yeah don't upgrade it without forger.

upgrading to 2 stars will yield 5000 mana, so that's a gain of 1500, you better recalculate that.
