First place in Arcade mode is cheater?

Arcade mode is awesome for me! I spent most of my time playing in this mode. Tried "my best" to take first place on Hoodlum Dolls and in the end it worked ... for one day: praisesun: But at that time I was "beaten" by someone with 1,206,000 and this amount seems legitimate.

And I start the game today after the break and find out that the first place on the Hoodlum Dolls = 1,560,430.
What the heck? How is it possible to get 1,560,430? Only if you fly through the level like a hurricane with OVERKILL at every step.

There has been a discussion going on regarding this on the discord [huntdown.com]. Oddball managed to get fairly close himself video proof so it could be possible. Though it seems unlikly to me that the 1,560,430 score by this person is legitimate.

As far as we know there aren't any cheaters in the high scores. Keep in mind a lot of players have been playing the game since early access, and the Epic version (as well as consoles), before finally jumping on the Steam version. So having a little playtime doesn't mean they didn't put in the hours on other platforms.

Personally I put at least 50 hours on the Switch version, while my steam version has hundreds of hours logged, I'd say most of that was testing not playing.

Yeah we had a lot of help from the community in the time leading up to release thanks to early access. I honestly don't know why more companies don't utilize valuable fan/player feedback, as the end goal is to provide an experience and gameplay loop that is finely tuned to them :)
