It would probably be a good idea to either sticky this or another topic on the subject, or to create a sub-forum dedicated to bugs. That way you have them all in one place.

My two so far;

1) I entered a very small room where a grate came down behind me. Slayed the single monster therein, but the gate would not open. I searched all over to see if I'd missed anything but it did not appear so. Trapped!

2) I could not find my way out of a certain part but there had to be one as I had not discovered the ladder to the next level yet. Finally I found one of those spools that you need to spin with LMB to open something up. Problem was it never stopped the spin. That includes after letting go; it just spun back infinitly. Trapped! :)

Also look at the map, although i found a secret area i can't reach because the stair steps aren't working (i have searched through all the map for a switch but after activation it didn't do nothing?)

1) Consumables sacrificed on altar still remain after spawning reward.

edit: alright just hotfixed the altar thing, because that enabled a bit of an exploit.

So I finally completed the game as amazon and wanted to share some issues. This is both some bugs and suggestions.


Item chute behind a wall spike trap can't be accessed without tripping the trap and quickly activate it before the trap fully retracts.

Item chute in hallway with floor spikes is super annoying. Especially since the game doesn't pause while using it.

On final floor I went into the shop and (I think) activated the shopkeeper but got a message about inventory full and a new shoulder armor dropped on the floor, but it couldn't be picked up even with free space.

The enemy mage buffing sometimes feel way to strong. I got cornered by two buffed orks that seemed imortal. Couldn't even see or know that there was a mage in the room, or reach him. Maybe require line of sight for it. That was a rage quit.

Seems to be a huge difference between floor 3 and 4. Maybe boost items a bit on level 3 and lower to prepare. The items that drops or are bought on 4 is way way better than anything you get earlier. An early shop on 4 was an enormous advantage and after I could complete 4 the rest of the game was fairly straightforward.

It feels a bit wrong to have the silver key in a "secret area". I think secret should mean optional.

I had a couple of skills in the book that didn't give any bonus. Life leech and the Iron skin I think. Said something like .0% on them. This was on early floors when I didn't have these on gear. Maybe got stuck from previous run.

Looking at crafted weapons with long text, it would be better to start at the top instead of the bottom so you can see the actual stats first. Also mousescroll could use larger stepping, it scrolls too little currently. Would also be nice if the item showed the stats combined.

I really wanted to be able to smash the boxes and furniture that was in the way, but maybe it isn't needed.


I had a couple of more but they have already been reported, or already fixed. Also, the game is great even though I've often loudly cursed after dying.

Beta bugs (from a second playthrough save):

1) If you re-enter the Keep after finishing the game, then complete your quest from before, the questgiver won't give you a new quest.

2) To trigger the "Secret found" message, you have to physically walk into the square containing the chest (e.g. if you unlock a jail cell), even if you are close enough to open the chest and loot everything in it, and even if it's a double cell and you walked inside the other square.

3) Killstreak multipliers on the HUD still show in the loading screen.

4) Progressing through a dungeon after beating the game, doesn't show the story pages in order.

5) Skills at level 10 show level 2 on the icon. (Noticed on Spectral Blades and Mace Knockback)

6) With 238 INT and Golden Tongue 4, everything can be sold for a little more than it took to buy. Including potions, which means... infinite money! :D

7) +75MP potions from the previous playthrough were not adjusted and do not stack with the new +40MP ones.

More beta build bugs:

1) I'm assuming the Revitalizing Drink is supposed to add to the max HP, but it doesn't. The stat said "HP +92.0", not max HP, and it didn't seem to affect max either. Probably same with the Fizzy Soft Drink, both are just regular potions right now. (EDIT: Nevermind, I guess these are just regular potions. Seeing the purple rarity, I thought they were the same as the +stat potions we saw before.)

2) Current HP can sometimes be higher than max HP. (e.g. when switching from a wand with +STR to one without it, using the hotbar.)

3) Deflect's description only mentions throwing projectiles back if you strike them, but blocking sometimes does it too?

4) Missing wall chunk above Mr. Dufresne's tunnel. :) I kept the save on this floor, if you need it.

5) Jumping before entering a shop menu, now lets you close it by pressing tab (so you're not stuck completely), but pressing escape doesn't work.

6) Spectral Blades skill (and maybe others) don't seem to get better after level 10. At level 10, it has a 100% chance to deal 33%, and at level 11, it has a 102.5% chance to deal 33%.

7) When clicking a potion in the shop, the rarity color border will disappear.

8) Seems like selling all potions of one type to the shop doesn't X it out on your hotbar. I haven't tried pressing the hotkey to see what happens.

9) Weapon stats don't show the number of levels of each skill it gives.
