Googlide Engine LVL 2

Where can I get the Googlide engine level 2 ? I got all the wreckboxes but did not receive it, is this a bug ?

If you found all the box, you should even have the lvl 3.
Did you check in the customization menu? They are not applied automatically but you have to "install" it.
To get into the menu, you have to go on the vehicule then press the key to call mounts (F4).
While on the jetski or the mecha, it allows to customize the vehicule instead of calling a mount (as you're already on one).

It's explained in a tooltip but it's not as clear as it could be and it's easy to miss (it took me some time to find it too).

Yeah, I even already customized my googlide but no engines in there. It was the first place I checked....

That's.... odd. I have several different Lev3 engines and have not found all the boxes yet.

You do see the different tabs for different Googlide parts, yes? Sorry if that is insulting, I just can't help feeling like this is user error.

It definitely seems bugged.

Before the update, you used to always get a lv2 engine as a set drop from the crate in the rubber duck mission. However, now it seems all randomised to the point where you risk getting it far too late or not at all.

Same here. I got the lvl 2 engine before I even got the googlide in my first playthrough before the update. Now it doesn't seem to spawn at all.

I got it on the first box on the playthrough I started after the update. Pretty sure it's just based on the world seed like all the other loot.

This is so weird, I'm really enjoying the game but these things really take from the experience.
