can the old world puzzles be harder?
I've got minimal int having never raised it. I always get 10 moves and these puzzles are like trivial puzzles for children. The only difficulty is when they have a new form and the first one you gotta figure out how things line up in some. Some of the puzzles start solved even! I've had to turn something and just turn it back to get it to trigger having been solved. The puzzles should rank up in difficulty than just line up the white and yellow. The one where you move the wires could be more difficult I guess but I've only seen two and both had the same solution where the start position was 4X and the end was 6X and there was one wire at a 1X and a free 3X to move it to solving in one move.

I have played 20 hours so far and all the puzzles were like that. It's a fail. Worst puzzles ever. "Puzzles" I mean.

Some of the puzzles happen to be 14 moves but the more you retry the more it becomes 10 or less moves.
game is towards kids and teens. So the puzzles are easy.

So higher intellect does nothing at all?

It was to give you more turns - but that is bugged.

You just described these puzzles. That's the same thing.

I think higher intellect sets the puzzle to be nearer to solving than it otherwise would be. Kind of like how it works in Fallout 4, with the decrypt being baby-easy if you go max INT and the computer is low difficulty. High diff/low int? All 10-letter words.

And remember, we're playing uplifted RODENTS and small Carnivora here. It's meant to represent THEIR mental struggles, which looks easy for a human player. Just keep that in mind, and bask in your human supremacism. :P

I have min INT. I've had a puzzle that start solved. I had to turn a wheel and turn it back to get it to trigger. The starting orientation is obviously random. Though unless I'm super lucky it must have some code to prevent a solution requiring more than 10 moves cause I've never had one that took that many. That said in many of these the worst case is 12 moves (3 knobs and 4 moves if 180 degrees wrong) so the probability of requiring 11 or 12 moves is only 3.2% but that's the same for 0 or 1 moves and I've gotten 0 moves once and 1 move a number of times. This is not "impossible" odds, it's definitely within reason but still pretty unlikely.
