I've always been a mage in games, and PSI-Freak was the way to go.
That's the problem with the rando loot system.. nothing i like the look of :(
If I had downloaded the game immediately when I had pre-ordered it, maybe it would have solved the Merc dlc issue (I didn't have enough disk-space at the time, again, it's a Playstation-Pleb problem, PC gamers wouldn't understand).
So now; I either get to play as a class that I am not fully commited to, or not play a game that I've preordered for 60$$ and wait for a fix to be released (been almost 24 hours since release on PS in my region still no fix in sight).
Back to topic;
My favourite class would be the merc (as mentioned above) coz it mixes kinda 2-3 of the best perks of some classes together.
You get the awesome 20% energy regen perk from the Psi-freak
And you get dual-wield
And you also get some sentinel-like perks that are both good in defensive nature and good for cirts.
(The PS peasent in my cries in agony!!)
My next-favourite class:
Probably the Psi-freak.
One of the later spells is called: Ki Spark (?) and it's literally the Emperor from from Star Wars screaming ''Powah! UNLIMITED Powahh!!'' as he zaps folks with lightning.
What's more, the Psi-Freak (Mage) class heals him/herself ever time you use your lightning and other such abilities. And on top of that you can still use melee weapons such as swords as a ''Mage class' in this game, right? Probably not as great a sword user as some other classes, but eh.. me thinks If I don't wait for the merc-dlc fix, I'll prolly go for Psi-Freak. Just my two cents.
