Vip Video Club Card

Hello all, I have in my inventory all the video club tapes including the tenth on in the water. I have stolen the athame, I have left the athame, I have viewed the tapes in the club room, I have watched mom & dad in the extras. The only thing I dont have is the lost tape #3 simply because I am not on that route. I cannot get Sosa to comment on it. I talked to her before Kate and told her about Hugo being fired, none of it is helping to make her comment on me getting the VIP card. Any help is appreciated.

Sosa doesn't know or care about the Lost Tapes, it shouldn't factor into earning the Video Club Misterio VIP card. She should just want you to find all ten Video Club Misterio tapes (Chrysalis, From the Drain, Follow a Cat Through the Woods, Blood Trail, The Weary Human Face, Apparition, Fired, Mr. Fileto, Office Party, Mom & Dad). All I can say is make sure that they're all in your inventory when you talk to her at the end of the game, I guess.

Yeah, it's frustrating cause I did have all of them. I don't know why it won't activate.

You actually checked whether they're all currently in your inventory when you speak to her? I only repeat this because I missed out on it my first playthrough as well - while I had in fact collected all ten tapes, I had reloaded at some point and lost a tape that I'd already collected and viewed but forgotten to re-pick up, so no achievement for me...

Yes, I had collected all nine, and then the last one in the underwater section. I triple checked it repeatedly and had every tape that I could possibly have, and had watched them all.

Edit: Checking my inventory now: Office Party, Mr. Fileto, Fired, Apparition, The Weary Hidden Face, Follow a cat through the woods, (i know it doesnt matter but lost tapes 1 and 2) From the drain, Blood Trail, Chrysalis. I then go pick up the one in the underwater section to receive the tenth (Mom and Dad) and have watched it in the extras menu. The only tape missing in the Extras menu is the one below Tape 3, 14 ??? simply cause I am going through the second playthrough.

Lost Tape #3 can't be obtained in a run where you would receive the VIP club card, so that doesn't make sense, especially since I know from first-hand experience that it's not a cumulative-over-multiple-saves kind of thing: missing one tape by collecting nine in one playthrough and then collecting that one missing tape but not the others would not earn you the achievement, it must be all ten in one playthrough. So I'm afraid that you must've just run into some kind of bug where the game inexplicably thinks you don't have a tape that you do. The only other thing I can possibly question is whether or not you talked to Sosa earlier in the game and received the non-VIP membership card when she asked you to join, which you presumably have given that you found all of her video tapes.

Yeah, I love Sosa. I got the card from her. But yeah the third tape is because I started the other route so it just shows up in the extras. I had the base nine that you get through normal gameplay, and the one before the ending of the game where you have to watch it in the extras section. I guess my game bugged out which is a shame. I would hate to play through everything just for one achievement again :<

I see that you mentioned that you watched all of the tapes, but for anyone else having trouble with this achievement, you must watch all of the tapes (except for "Mom & Dad", which cannot be watched) before you beat the game. This means that once you collect Office Party on the 9th floor, you need to go back and make sure it and every other tape is watched - otherwise, Sosa won't talk about or give you the VIP membership.
