Game crashes when I give Mr. Doshi the Video Camera

It happened three times, always when I try to "Use" the Video Camera in front of him. Why does that happen? Am I softlocked, or do I have to use the Camera in another place?

this is a known issue, but have no consequences except making the game crash.
You're not expected to give him the camera to progress in game.
