These bastards devs make good games but a lot of mechanics is garbage in their games, this spider boss is ridiculous how do I hit it without getting hurt by the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mines splash damage ????????????????????????????????

We should have been given at least 5 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pencils in the room with the Hexenbook so we could detonate it from afar without taking ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ splash damage.

It's not "hard," it's just annoying. You only get that cart pushing hint if you push a cart. Very easy to not do that and just run around in a circle going "wtf".

dear ，according to my experience, it should be much easier if you do like this : 1) 【run around the shelves at the bottom of the library 】, to describe it more detailedly ,where a mine is placed between shelves and the glass shelf that you first see when entering the library, also there is a cart there. 2)The spider will lay an egg mine on the side of this routine to block you way, which is misleading and force you to change routine at the first sight ——— so use your pencil to kill the egg! He wont lay too many eggs, spending just 1 or 2 pencils 3) listen into your headphone , run around these shelfs and catch the opportunity to push the cart. By using this method ,this boss will be a very easy to kill one ,in just 1 or 2 minutes hope this can help you! best wishes

i speed run this boss in a minute, you all need to get good

Let me just tell you the magic trick. Focus on moving the cart back and forth on the bottom. Push the cart and run along with it, the cart detonates the mine and it won't hurt you. Then show it when the spider comes over it and while he's stunned run to the other side and push it back. You can get off multiple hits easy.

Thanks for all your help guys. Yes, it's all about timing the cart push so that it sets off the mine to hit the spider, then running clockwise around the bookcases, pushing the cart back, and then luring the spider back to the same mine three times. At least that's how I did it.
