(Spoiler Heavy - End Game) The Sixth Floor
We are never actually able to enter the sixth floor. It is out of service on the elevator and bricked up on the emergency stairwell. At one point we see Mr. Hugo go into the elevator and it stops on the sixth floor. I was mistaken. He actually goes to the 4th floor to send Kate into the gas filled area and trap you in a boss battle with Dot Matrix.

Is the sixth floor the underwater office room? If so, how did we get to the sixth floor from the 2nd floor underground flood?

Maybe the sixth floor is DLC? ;)

Anyway, I'm just curious. Any thoughts?

I didn't find any dialogue or interactions related to entering or being in sixth floor in text files, but in the map data there some references.
I think its probably inaccessible in the game, but i could be wrong
You're going to need to talk to a certain AI by using a key from an ex-hunter.

Maybe the sixth floor is the bell code we used.

I think, that many closed doors are avallible but open all of tthem is a great quest. For example i remember this not-entired rooms: 6th floor, some doors in family appartaments on 2th floor (above the doors are nubmers) with door in Domoris room. Maybe answers in game files

According to the gamefiles there is a way to enter the securityroom on the third floor.... I just haven't found a way to do it yet.

I think the sixth floor is locked permanently... There're notes that say it was the floor where Sintra and the Dot Matrix were developed.
It might be the Underwater office.... I mean, you go from the eighth floor to the fifth via the airvent... And the watertunnels lead 'up'?

I think that someone might have mentioned this to me before. How do you look at the gamefiles? I might try searching for solutions within. If i had to bet, it would have something to do with the cameras outside the security room. Does it indicate when you should be able to access the room? Maybe those robotron cameras have a key? LOL. anyway you are definitely right about the vents being like portals so why not the underwater caverns being the path to floor 6.

There's no way to enter Rooftops either?

You'll get there in one of the endings, other than that - i don't think so.

And I think Super Hugo eventually gets to the rooftop?

I agree that the 6th floor, together with the security room, could be used for a future DLC. The team announced a future free DLC for Yuppie Psycho in a recent interview, which you can find it here if interested: https://surrealandcreepy.wordpress.com/2019/05/07/interview-with-francisco-calvelo-from-baroque-decay-the-creators-of-count-lucanor-and-yuppie-psycho/

If you go by the game's lore, the 6th floor is the R&D department. I'd imagine that it was some kind of robotics lab that was closed off after Sintracorp stopped making Sintra androids.

Btw, this makes me wonder why the androids were destroyed and how did they get a copy of Rei Sintra's memories after her disappearance. None of the androids should be the actual Rei Sintra unless there was some black magic involved affixing her soul to one.

It kinda makes me think of how Brian photocopies his soul to cheat death, except the "save/load" mechanic functions more like a "rewind time", instead of a "come back to life".

Just to be fair with the presumed structure of the building, and to add to the discussion a little bit.... in the staircase area, it shows the floors are "above" each other like 2,4,6,8,10 and 1,3,5,7,9.... especially with a whole garden/graveyard level, it might be safe to assume that the 6th floor, beneath the 8th floor garden, is actually filled with dirt and the underwater area, at this point. Hell, we can see vines growing over the bricked level 6 area, just below the garden.... that all but confirms it imo.

I would say that the 6th floor became retired when they dedicated the 8th floor as a garden.... because reasons. I also think if they do a dlc of the 6th floor, it will either be covered in roots, or be in some sort of flashback sequence.

The "cascading" floors is also why you can reach the underwater area through level 2; level 4 falls down into the level two cauldron if you recall, so again, levels 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 seem to be directly on top of each other. All I know is it's a weird and confusing building... lol.

But now that I'm thinking about it.... 2, 4, 6, and 8 do technically make up the snake's abode, while the other floors more or less are usually "safe". 2 is the cauldren/pool and the apartments, 4 is the dot matrix and the HR mouth witches, 6 is hidden, and 8 is the graveyard. the snake seems to live in some sort of crevice between the sunken water floor and a green fauna area with alot of rocky rubble... which I would guess is indeed the 6th floor.

This all is making me think the 6th floor was retired, the 8th floor was made into a garden, and the snake itself started to grow bigger, all around the same time period...like I said before, it would seem the snake made an abode out of that area of the building, by perhaps getting the 6th floor to be retired into an underground area for the 8th floor garden. idk though.
