The alters
If somebody already answered this just like me to it. But I wet through the game and fixed all the alters just because but i really don't know what they do. Anyone figure out and wanna share?

They unlock a cutscene with a saint at the Mausoleum. If you didn't do all the altars, then that whole encounter is skipped over.

No, the altars say they are for A.M., and the lady spirit you talk to in the mausoleum says she was one of the original hunters, and that her name is Anna Moetia, (or some name that begins with an "a"), which are her initials.
