also there's mention of Witches needing to drink devil's blood to become witches, and we see Robo-Sintra drinking digital blood in front of a red Devil statue and a marble woman statue, notice that their positions correspond to where Brian and Sintra are when they converse at the pool. Sintra destined to become the next witch of Sintracorp? Which leaves how can Brian becomes the 'Devil'?
How Brian and Kate fit into all this remains to be seen in DLC i suppose
There are a few scenes where Mr.Devil appears:
1. In a nameless save file (I got this when I didn't sign the contract and went back home), you are in a room with no lights. You walk straight to the left and you will find a door. You will find a man sobbing in the corner. In the next scene, you find yourself controlling Mr. Devil, talking to a red snake and telling her you brought her to the beach. In this scene, the red snake calls Mr. Devil daddy, and Mr. Devil calls her princess.
2. In sintranet where you find Sintra swimming in a pool, there are two statues in the room while Sintra talking about her parents. One is a red devil with horns, the other is a woman with blood dripping from her mouth. Are they representing Rei's parents? Or are they Mr. Devil and the Witch?
3. In a room on 7th floor, you insert an audio tape and you will be able to walk through walls. You will find a secret room where you see headless Kate and a lot of Brians lining up. When you reach the end of the queue, you will see Mr. Devil killing Brians one by one. He asks you something like "Why should I choose you?" and he stabs you like he did to the others. Why are there so many Brians? Why is Mr. Devil killing them? And is he looking for a Brian who he can spare and do something with him?
4. After the Birthday party, you will find a dead body wearing Mr. Devil's clothes. He's in the middle of a magical circle. It looks like a ritual. I think the man is only an employee dressing as
Mr. Devil. Perhaps all the dead bodies are the offerings, and someone was summoning Mr. Devil / bringing him back to life? If so, who did this? And why?
5. In the bathroom, Brian can find himself dressing like Mr. Devil. Brian doesn't react to the reflection. Does he not see the reflection in the mirror or is he Mr. Devil at that time?
6. In the underwater office, you can find Mr. Devil in the elevator. He tells you to do something with the five snakes (I kinda forgot) and get out of the elevator. However, there's no way to get rid of the snakes other than getting bite, and you HAVE to go into the elevator to save Kate. Even more, he claims that the Witch is behind the wall, but I don't think she's actually here. Is he stopping you from saving Kate?
Conclustion / Theory:
1. I don't think Brian and Mr. Devil are the same person, because the way they talk and their tones are different.
2. Mr. Devil never appears in the real world (other than in the mirror). The only time he appears is inside the elevator in underwater office, which I think it's Brian's imaginary world or some sort of demon world because afterwards Rei finds Brian losing conciousness underwater. This might implies that Mr. Devil is living inside Brian's mind, and he might not have a physical body in this world.
3. Mr. Devil has red eyes just like the "monsters" in this game (white snakes, Domori, spider guy). I think these "monsters" are magical creatures from the other world (maybe from hell?).
4. Mr. Devil is "someone's" daddy. Sintra's head and the red snake in the secret save files call him daddy. I don't think he's Rei's father, because her father seems like a normal human. Instead, I think he's Domori's father, because:
- The red snake says she's scared and has no idea where she is, and Domori was frozen at that time, so Domori is probably the red snake,
- When Sintra's head is put back onto the robot's body, Rei wakes up and sees a white snake on her hand. Maybe Domori was inside the head, and the snake brings her back to Rei's body? (I couldn't think of any reasons why Domori was in the head other than this)
- Idk where can I find this in game, but I saw someone said witches drink devil's blood to become a witch. If this is true, then Mr. Devil is technically Domori's father because he might be the one who turned her into a witch. Therefore, the two statues in sintranet are Mr. Devil and Domori.
5. Mr. Devil is not on Brian's side. In the underwater office, Mr. Devil tried to stop Brian from saving Kate. Perhaps, Mr. Devil has a plan to do something and saving Kate is not part of it. Maybe Mr. Devil is helping the white snake?
This is only a theory, but Mr. Devil's goal could be keeping Domori imprisoned, and using her power to kill humans in this company. This makes sense because in the secret save file, Mr. Devil never shows intention to save Domori. This is probably because Domori is too kind to take anyone's life, so instead, Mr. Devil want the white snake to use Domori's power. Also, in the Birthday party, that ritual might implies that Mr. Devil needs offerings and a body to possess. The white snake probably want to summon the devil right away because it thinks Brian is getting closer to save Domori. However it failed, either because there aren't enough offerings, or the body cannot be possessed (Brian's body is probably the only one
can be possessed). In returns of summoning the devil into the human world, I imagine Mr. Devil will grant it power (blood). That's why the white snake become gigantic after thousand of years.
Then what about Kate? Why is he stopping Brian from saving her? Does the headless Kate mean something? Is cutting her head off (which Brian did with a plastic knife) part of the ritual? I don't have a clue, but I do think that Kate is part of the ritual / Mr. Devil's plan.
I cannot prove this theory true, but I think it makes sense. I might have missed something. Feel free to point them out, or make a comment on my theory. I would love to know more about this game.

I found the post I read. I thought this can be found in some random notes in the game, but apparently the theory of "witches gain power from the devil" hasn't been proven. So yes, this is in the Sintranet's pool scene (cocktail and the statues).

I just want to add something about Kate and the ritual.
When the horse man was thinking of a task to give Brian, Hugo interrupts and suggests listening to the horse. Also, during the Birthday party, Jenna wants to play as the role of the Witch, but Hugo rejected and convinced Kate to play instead. Then he somehow lured Brian into stabbing Kate with a plastic knife. Isn't this a weird turn? If his target is Brian only, he could've let Jenna play the role. Hugo seems to be the one who make up the "making friends" task too.
I'm thinking that in order to complete the ritual, Brian has to kill someone he likes (his friend). And Hugo was the one who "prepared" for the ritual.
