Character movement on Mac laptop

So I just got this game on Steam and I'm playing on a Mac laptop. I'm not able to move the character at all. The instructions call for "right click the mouse." Um, I'm on a laptop with no mouse. I've tried ♥♥♥♥-click, option-click and any combination of keys and nothing. Any suggestions?

Usually laptops have a mouse equivalent on the surface .... a pad for your finger....and two buttons below the pad that act as right and left mouse buttons. I don't know what kind of mac model that is, but if it doesn't have what was just mentioned....you probably want to get a mouse.

On the laptops I've played, there's a difference between tapping the TouchPad with 1 finger vs 2 fingers. 2 fingers seems to be the right click.

This wasn't a Mac, though, but I suspect there's a way to make your computer perform a right click function all the same.
