I've played 90% of the time on the Seaside map script. What other maps offer good challenge and interesting scenarios for single player?

I like a large Mediterranean-style map with edge starts. Lot of expansion into tribal territory to start with then encounter 2 or 3 AIs in 2 distinct directions but for most wars you are going to need multiple boats.

I like the huge continent map, allows for naval as well as ground action.
Arid plateau, Desert, Northern Ocean, and Coastal rain basin are all maps that I find interesting.

Disjunction map, with three AIs, one continent per team and King of the Hill active. That's four symmetric continents with a land connection in the center of the map.

I love Archipelago.

Medium Islands with Low Water generates a great mix of snaky branching continents and long islands. An explorer's dream. Makes the naval game relevant (but not too relevant).

Large Islands with Low water generates 2-4 large continents that look much more natural and realistic than the Continents mapscript.

I also enjoy Bay, and Lakes and Gulfs, but I keep going back to Archipelago.
I only play Archipelago, medium map, medium islands and large waters. It often creates me an island with 6 cities. Then I just play 3 families- 2 cities each and try to mind my own business. 75% of wins are ambitions, 25% vic.points.
