Doing the barbarian horde scenario and it didnt spawn. We control the entire map and are on the highlands map type.
A group of 3 of us controlled every tile on the map and the 120 turn countdown has come and gone and no barbarians spawned. Can we beat the scenario by doing the ambition victory or is the game bugged and we have to start again? We've spent over 10 hours on this run so hopefully we can salvage it.

(Edit: I did load the save after todays session and kicked the player slots to end the last few turns to see if the game would crash trying to spawn 300 barbarian units so maybe that could also affect it? Will have to wait till next week when we can play again to confirm.)

Bear in mind that all the raiders need a tile to spawn in, in your case the horde was due to be over 300 so you would need at least that many free tiles.

It sounds bugged and incompletable unfortunately. Please may you submit a bug report in game, or email the save to support@mohawkgames.com, and we can take a look and see what went wrong.

I submitted a ingame report on turn 119 with some info. I then remembered we do have 1 mod active called Tiny Maps (which adds to smaller map sizes) but we arn't using those map sizes, we're on a medium map so I added that info in the bug report. Hopefully thats not the issue otherwise i'll be wasting your time with modded game nonsense :(

Edit: This coming weekend we're gonna start a brand new game (making sure all mods are off and leaving a few empty tiles to be safe) and hopefully we have better luck finishing it.

Ah that makes sense. We maybe thought about just leaving 10-20 tiles free it would let us fight a small group but ok, we need to leave lots of space free. Thanks for the heads up.
