Do you own Old World on another platform than Steam? Just asking...
I learned how to play it, I did the 5 tutorials and liked it so much that I bought all the DLCs, before actually start playing. Old World is excellent, it is truly historical, it is not as comprehensive as previous civilization games, because the action only takes place in ancient times in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, but it incorporates dynasties, simulations, events and now natural disasters and we have to manage them all.
I love Civ V and Civ VI (with all DLCs and Civ V skin), I'm also loving Old World, the game is on par with previous Civ games and apparently way above Civ VII.
I tried it and refunded.
Ah, ok, I see it in your review. You played for the length of impressive 12 minutes. Perhaps you should have tested the free demo of Old World first, for to play even longer.
Bought it to leave a bad review, clearly,
Both games are very good 4X games.
I prefer the graphic style in Old World, it's more attuned and less cartoony. kinda CivVII looks a bit too much on the side of Fortnight characters,
