Music is freaking great!
Specially the religious tunes. Really get's the "Old World" feeling, of ancient times.

One of the first songs on my first game was by the Bulgarian state women's choir, they were smart and went with a greatest hits of 'old world' style music.

I noticed Orthodox Priest, Father Serafim, singing Pslams while playing Persia.

The whole game is so good. I am thinking about buying on steam. Just to support this great game.

Thanks for the kind words - we put a lot of time into the soundtrack and collected all of the tracks available here: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/1T9NhkHRgXBhZOCu4dfJFV?si=b6f11308fc8c494d

If you're willing, it's very helpful to leave a user review to let other players know what you think.

Agreed! Christopher Tin is a fantastic composer.

Richard Clark says, “I’ll give it an 85, it’s got a good beat and you can dance to it.”

I've gone to spotify and looked up a lot of the songs I've heard in this game, and put them in my rotation. The Song "Clouds, not Clocks" by Slow Meadow is one of the most hauntingly beautiful pieces of music I've ever heard. No doubt I would never have discovered it without this game.

yeah no. Most of it is headache-inducing.
I've got it almost pared down to instrumental only tracks, but it's been a long hard, annoying AF road to get there

Well to each their own I suppose

I just listened to the soundtrack.

It's not bad. Pleasant, and easy on the ears. Which is important in gaming because the first thing that many people do when firing up a video game is turn off the music.

Music is a tough gig in this industry because, as you know, it often becomes repetitive or annoying when the songs are on an endless loop.

It's different in the film industry because it's one-and-done, for the rest of the film.

Imagine if Apocalypse Now played The Doors track 'The End', on an endless loop throughout the film. People would hate tha...

Scratch that. That's a bad example because people would probably get off on that. It's hard to argue against a blistering rock 'n' roll record of the highest order.

Okay, imagine if Top Gun: Maverick played the Kenny Loggins track 'Danger Zone' on an endless loop, from beginning to end.

Wall-to-wall Kenny Loggins.

I know, some people would enjoy that, too.

Twisted f-----s.

Music is incredibly subjective. It's far from the best soundtrack I've ever heard in a strategy game (my personal favourite would be Beyond Earth's soundtrack but only by a very narrow margin.) The music in this game overall is unobtrusive - it neither charms me nor jars me and I don't find it repetitive at all. Some pieces are very sophisticated but I never stop playing just to focus on the music like I do with other games.

My wife likes the 'Hey with me, hello hello' jingle and sings along with it when she hears it so there's that.
