Making plugin for Godot Engine available?
Hello,
I have recently as a programming exercise develop a plugin for Godot engine [godotengine.org]. I'd like to make that plugin publicly available, preferably under an MIT license (meaning my source code, of course not the Steam audio SDK itself). I've read through the license agreement and I am now wondering on whether a plugin qualifies as interactive digital content.
TL;DR May I distribute and license a plugin in source code form that enables the use of Steam Audio SDK inside a game engine?

Yea well I read that already and the basic question is if a plugin qualifies as "interactive digital content", because a plugin is not a game, but is interactive and digital.

I mean, they probably don't care, as long as you don't decompile anything. And if you happen to break the license they will send you a cease and desist and that's it. Afaik in valve's history this never happened, not even in hunt down the freeman.

Sounds reasonable, thank you!

No problem. C-can you send me an update on the progress of the plugin when it's done? T-hanks.

*few years later bump*
This is also of interest to me and probably many others. Godot's built in 3D audio is sorely lacking in some key functionality, like occlusion and reverb.
