You can level up your characters and you can recover NRG by killing monsters in 1 or 2 turns.
If you're in the bunker there's also kalachnikov ammo respawning.
Further though, how much are you expected to level by the bunker? because most of my characters are around 50-55 and do very little to this boss. And without being able to see how much health he has...i have no idea if im even close to finishing him.
Also, are support characters like Alison and Laura suposed to be useless for combat entirely? because the idea would be to give them the gun so when they arent healing they can HIT for predetermined damage, but they cant use the guns. So they are practicly meat shields with no MP, and honestly not even that.
Alison can use only the normal gun.
The boss has 4 different forms. You can damage it quite a lot if you found the best weapon for Gary (a mace).
what level are you suposed to be at to do that boss?
I know that if you kill the monsters fast it helps recovering your NRG (MP).
I completed the game, but for most players the only way to progress in this would be a cycle of dying. Unless this is the intended route(doesnt feel like it from the gameplay) it really seems like the game needs some balancing.
overall enjoyable until the bunker though
If not look on the desk in the first room for the key. its sort of hard to notice.
I did the majotrity of it without her, but you do have to get her to finish.
Cheesing is how i did it. main character and 3 girls with guns. it works.... bare;y
There is a "Shop Box" as i call them in the bunker but it sells nothing. If that just sold NRG items the bunker would be fine. Difficult still, but fine. But you have over $10k at the end of the game and nothing to do with it.
The game would become too easy if you can fully restore Gary's NRG with items, but we just ran an update that allows you to purchase unlimited items in the "Shop Box" that will help restoring your Life and the NRG of the girls.
An important item not to miss is the black mace in Gorski's room, it's the best weapon for Gary.
and "too easy" is not how i would discribe the last phase of the final boss. you are pretty much only using Gary anyway do to the girls being tied up every single turn. relasing them is fine, and 2 moderate attacks on the boss...but after 60 turns of this(with mace) boss still isnt dead if you arent able to fire off guns from the girls.
TON of luck and cheese needed. desperately needs rebalanced. Which is sad, becasue up until the bunker i actually enjoyed the combat of the game.
