[semi spoiler] Rare Weapon Guide
I decided to compile and arrange a list of where all the rare weapon's can be obtained for all the characters in this game, as i found that all other guides i found was either messy, unorganized, or just translated from the japanese version. That last part is for most part fine and all, but some of the names have changed alot during the port. and it was enough maps i saw name changes for.. both big and small, that i decided to compile this list.

The list is ordered after how you unlock each map in the story and ive numbered the maps after the chapter in the story the map unlocks..

To get a rare weapon you need to fulfill 3 requirements.
1. Difficulty must be set to Hard or higher.
2. one of the 2 characters you select must be the one you intend to unlock the weapon for.
3. you need to win with an overall S rank. to earn that you need to get atleast 3 of the tasks S while the 4th can be A or S.

"s1, s2, s3" annotates secondary battlefields.
* annotates that this map you only control 1 character, i decided to note that because on most maps you can have your main character just solo the map and the character you intend to unlock the weapon for can sit back and idle. (exeptions apply, some maps are too hard to solo)

side notes:
1. there is no ch 9-11-13-15 here because those are story chapters and no big battles occur.
2. 14-3 Battle of Sanada Maru is probably the best map to grind levels, you start the mission with super dense packs of enemies, and a mission to kill 1k soldiers. and using xp scrolls while you mow them all down really kicks your leveling into high gear...

Thank you for the organized information mate. This would also be good on the guide section as well!

I would, but i bought the game on PS4 and steam guides require you to have the game on steam in order to post guides :/

I really like how simple is to get rare weapons in this game, you just have to get S rank in the mission on hard instead of getting arbitrary objectives, number of kills, time limit and such.

Agreed. The SW4-II method felt a bit too convoluted, with all the different objectives you need to keep track of. Most other Warriors games do the S-rank method.
