So better off buying the ps4 version?
Since, yknow, Koei doesn't know what optimization is.

I get used to game optimized being bad. I mean even AAA PC games last year were mostly s*it. PC game is getting worse and worse tbh, it's better to tune down an elitist taste and deal with it before you lose all your enjoyment. Go buy console or retire from gaming.
That complacency is what's killing gaming. Only person who should retire from gaming is you, bub.

I didn't mean it in bad way. PC Gaming is getting worse. And sadly there's no way for us to do other than don't support them.

Complaining is going no where and being hostile help no one sadly

To me. Game being enjoyable and playable is good enough. I dropped elitist taste since too long to remember. I also have some other platforms to play just so I don't have to be worried about how PC game get treated badly.

What I meant is to you being flexible. Complaining ain't going any where. And you should retire from gaming if you can't be just happy anymore that's all. Bub.

On the ps4 pro it's 60fps if you run it in 1080p mode. It only goes to 30 if you run it at native 2160p - the same thing happens in Dragon Quest Heroes 2

Thanks, was wondering how Pro handled it. I might get one eventually. Sounds like that's the optimum way to play this game if they never bother patching this PC port.

It's not that bad, actually. It only dips occassionally. Most of the time the FPS will be steady, which is probably more important for smooth gameplay than having a full 60 FPS.

to me as long as its enjoyable and playable its good enough I have non-elitists taste to be honest Musou stars (JPN Title) is good enough for me despite it being a grind heavy musou game (those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bonds yo... 32 characters....)
I mean sure death match battle is stressful as ♥♥♥♥ (1 hit kill mode like wise enemies to are killed in one hit as well as you), team battle in any of the Kagero maps is just ♥♥♥♥... and dont expect it to have Ni-oh like graphical fidelity as clearly these games are made by different teams I mean sure William is in Musou Stars and clearly talks in english and that everyone else clearly understands him...
So you are saying I should pass on Warriors All-Star coming out this August and wait for DW9? Cool.
DW9 is interesting thats a fact
Musou stars is just there to well play with some ideas, you can still get it if you want a unique Musou game where each character takes some mechanics for each of their games

PS4 version runs fine. I've been streaming it since it came out and it looks good and runs well. I can't say that I have ever really noticed an issue with low frame rates.

It tends to dip at times during hyper attacks in crowded areas on a normal PS4. On a Pro, if you don't enable the fancier graphics mode, it probably runs 100% stable.

honestly I haven't yet seen anything that really impacts the frame rate significantly in my 40 hours of playtime. Slight frame rate drops are usually expected in Warriors games during certain times so it won't bother me unless it gets really bad lol. Like Fallout 4 dropping to single digits on PS4 before one of the patches finally fixed it.

Honestly, I haven't had major performance issues and I'm running an Nvidia GTX graphics card. I just recently bought a new rig, but my old one (I played Spirit of Sanada on that) had a GTX 770, i7 930 @ 2.93ghz, and 12gb of DDR3 RAM. I was running the game on ultra at 1080p with smooth performance (had anti-aliasing and v-sync off). I only noticed occasional dips, but otherwise the game runs fine. I'm not sure why some folks using a GTX 980 or better are having issues if my GTX 770 was working just fine.

60fps @ 1080 here.

But I don't skimp on hardware.

Yep. I just got a new system myself (GTX 1080 Ti, i7 7700K, 18GB of RAM). It's overkill for this game, but I get a solid 60 fps just the same. Only time it goes to 30 fps are the cutscenes. Otherwise, buttery smooth gameplay.

If you've got the hardware, this game looks better and runs better than its PS4 (and PS4 "Pro") counterpart.

Does this game work on an older PS4 model? I don't have the 4K one, because I heard it had combatability issues with Samsung TVs.

The PS4 version works just fine on a regular PS4.
