Pitbull?
Why are these even in the game? They are useless and dangerous. Therefore they are just a tool for griefers.

The last game I played someone has dumped a bunch of these in the kitchen and they attacked everyone which probably killed the whole village because it was already on edge. So, why are they in the game? Why would you take these things to your village other than for griefing?

Pitbulls were originally 100% aggressive at all time until he got enough complaints to which he turned them into rng time bombs (or you could abuse them to turn them mean.)

They exist as they do because his wife was attacked by one thus all pitbulls are evil yadda yadda.

Hah, I didn't actually expect an informative post at this point and was wondering why I even asked.

Interesting backstory, bad gameplay element nonetheless (albeit also quite unimportant).

I wish dogs would at least serve a purpose. Right now whenever someone starts breeding dogs because "doggos" they only get in the way everywhere which can be very annoying in cluttered areas.

That's because Jason can never stop talking about himself.

If you look on his old Castle Doctrine blog, he goes into great lengths about the ordeal. But even in his blog post, it was a Boxer that attacked his wife, not a Pit Bull. The Pit Bull comes from a separate event at the park, and the dog didn't attack, just spooked them. But smooth-brain Jason got into an argument with the dog's owner after threatening to pepper spray the dog. I'm guessing Jason still pissy about that.

Anyway, looking at how Jason just throws up refunds whenever someone gives him a negative review, he doesn't seem to be interested in listening to the community or any of their concerns at this point. Dogs will remain useless because he deems it so.

That was quite a long blog post. I didn't expect a story like that behind the dogs but this explains why they are a thing and why there are so many breeds which seems like a bit of dedication to me.

It's not uncommon for artsy fartsy types to make a "statement" with their art (and OHOL is just one big experimental art project). So the takeaway is, most dog breeds are useless/acceptable, but Pit Bulls are just evil--and you're an awful person if you own/breed one. :lunar2019laughingpig:
