Anyone Know How To Make A Private Server?

Pretty much exactly the title. I'd like to make a Singleplayer Server, maybe know how to make it so I could spawn in the same general area each time just to see how far I could get on my own. I'm not very good with computers, and there are few clear explanations of how to set up things like that. I know that it's possible thanks to having played 2HOL, I just have no idea how.

Also, please don't say anything about how I should 'just go off into the wilderness if I want to play alone' or something. Multiplayer is great and all, but sometimes I just want to chill out and derp around on my own without worrying about random people popping up or having babies.

Ah yes, and I know that you can just go onto a server that has no people, but that's not really what I'm after.

Setting up as private server is not a simple task, which why many people on steam discussions advise to join an empty sever.

I suggest you go directly to the official forums with further technical questions.
There is a pinned post in steam discussions, that can help you get the "special code" to register for the forums etc.

Thanks, though I already had found this and could only get so far. It won't boot up the game for me, (Instead it gives me this page and nothing more no matter how long I wait as it says to in the guide https://i.gyazo.com/cb7fd962b7773079904a54753cd8add1.png ) so I thought I did something wrong, or maybe it was to complex for someone such as myself who is awful with technical stuff when it comes to computers/programming. Thank you for making a suggestion, though. I likely just need some help from someone that knows this stuff better than I do to make it work. <3
