you will get an email do what it says.... once you put your game key in the game it should know its you
You don't get an email when you purchase off steam, and it's an open source game so I don't hink you can "steal" it.
From the Official Forums:
Steps:
1. If you're unsure if it's a bug, post here first to discuss it with others.
2. Once you're sure that it's a bug, it should be reported on GitHub by filing an Issue.
Issues with content should be reported here:
https://github.com/jasonrohrer/OneLifeData7/issues
An example of an content issue is: "Watering a baby pine tree causes it to grow up into a poplar." Or: "Fur shall is spelled incorrectly." Usually, content issues can be verified by checking in the tech tree (https://onetech.info) and making sure the issue is present there too.
Issues with the game program itself should be reported here:
https://github.com/jasonrohrer/OneLifeData7/issues
Examples of program issues are reproducible crashes, graphical glitches, or unexpected mouse behaviors. These reports should be accompanied by a detailed list of steps needed to reproduce, or the shortest possible recordedGame file showing the problem.
Also, if you've found a crash, you should try to get a stack trace for it by following these instructions:
