Only person who cares to start fan wars are those who haven’t played one of them or are jealous that Sonic sold better due to having 30 years of history
While I am an avid fan of both of these games, in the light of basically other games than horizon, elden ring, ragnarok. Stray, plague and xenoblade, I believe a truce is in order. Hell TGA’s precious Cuphead Only got a mention through the Cuphead show and not the highly anticipated highly discussed and accaimed delicious last course
The first game was also never nominated for Best Indie Game. PC Gamer, the one outlet who probably should have been able to review the game, only had a guest article on the game with no review score.
It will take the console release at the very least for this game to get any recognition unless the console release coincides with Hollow Knight Silksong's release.
The thing with indie games though is that they can gain traction long after people realise they've even released, Among Us is the best example of this. Honestly this game should have probably have been released alongside consoles in 2023 but given how long it was announced for I can understand not wanting to delay from the originally announced release date too much especially when Steam doesn't have the requirements that consoles do.
