Anyway I don't mind the story if it's just to explain why we are in a new level.
I could agree that Sonic began to go downhill when the game began to have more story (bad voice acting and animations) but FP is better than what Sega could do
We never removed any cutscenes, we did shave down two of them a little bit to make them more bearable, removing sequences that either covered redundant information or were actually plot holes.
I mean I prefer playing a Sonic game for its gameplay then watch every cutscenes afterward.

Wait, your cringe is over people being excited about Sushi because you don't get sushi?

What about "Sound of Brevon"? (sorry I call it that for fun, it's br_15) It's really a very interesting cutscene, I'm kinda still hoping it will come out to be true. SPOILERS! THE MOST TERRIBLE THINGS IN THE GALAXY ARE HEADING OUR WAY! Please, please, pleeeeease! Be true! If not in 2, please maybe in a 3!
There's also several cut-scenes (haha, get it?) in Final Dreadnought, I found them in Torque's voice clips (to_25 to to_28). I don't know if there are voice clips for other characters that work in these scenes.
There are several other examples I could list, but the point is this game, like many, has unused scenes remaining in its files.
I also understand if you don't want to discuss the scene where Brevon sings a part of the Sound of Music.
"Come on, Syntax, sing along."
The "SUSHI!" is perfectly fine with me, but "space cooties" and "Sound of Brevon"...
I can easily guess why those voice clips were left out of the final version.
Though "space cooties" is a bit funny as a running joke, it's just weird...
And "Sound of Brevon" would be great if it had every voice clip but the last one, after which I have named it (as it is sadly the most memorable part when browsing the files).
