Window size won't change/Graphics don't fit on screen

I just got FHM4 but am unable to play because whenever I try and start a league/career/scenario the buttons/graphics that allow me to contine don't appear on the screen. Some graphics are cut off making it look like the graphics are trying to be put on a part of my screen that doesn't exist.
when I started up my game for the first time it was set to be in maximized full screen but the graphics don't fit on my screen so I thought this might be the problem. Unfortanutely I am also unable to change the size of the window even after restarting my game.

What's the screen resolution you're using right now (on your desktop, not in the game)? My first suspicion would be that you've either got a very small desktop size or have the scaling (assuming you're using Windows - it's in the Display screen) set to something other than 100%. If it was, say, 150%, that'd cut off a big chunk of the window.
