Banned for "cheating as good king" when I collaborated with BD

Good ♥♥♥♥. No, I will not join your discord to appeal my ban. Reason given is I found the cult leader without checking them. I trusted information other players were giving me. Then at the end of the game everyone freaked out and said to mass-report me because we got the cult fast.

Really poor moderation. I had fun with this game but I guess if I get banned for """cheating""" if I get lucky, it's not worth playing.

If you used information being given to you by other people, that would be in the logs, it seems unlikely they would ban you for such a thing. If you provide a mod with your in game name they can go over whatever happened with you.

That's exactly why I'm not happy. I don't have any friends who play this game, I've never cheated. If this is the game I think it was, an observer PMed me saying they saw someone follow another and kill them (or he used a peek, I dont remember) I checked the observer to be BD, and trusted his info. He followed someone else and saw them get converted and told me about it. I publicly said that I checked a player when I was simply trusting the observer (I didn't want to out him and I knew he was BD).

Apparently being creative/trusting a confirmed BD is a bannable offense, though?

Mods see everything. They see who you grouped with and all trollboxes and much more. They must have banned you for a reason. If you really want I can try to ask a mod to say why you were banned.

No, I don't need other people appealing my ban for me when you already assume that the mods "must have banned me for a reason." People accused me of cheating when I was playing the game normally. I have a grand total of seven (7) friends added on steam and none of them play this game. All of my games have been with randoms, I'm not even in their discord.

I have no idea what kind of cheating I'm even being accused of. If they want to accuse me of cheating they could at least have the decency to show me the logs so I can prove to them where I got my info, since whoever banned me decided to ignore it.

But I'm not interested in coming back to this game. At least not for a very long time.

Usually the mods respond to these types of threads directly on the forum. I'm suprised they have not yet.

Personally, I totally understand how you feel about this but I can assure you, we'll do our best to not make this kind of mistake again! We deal with over 100 reports a day and we try our very best not to make mistakes, but we're also only human.

Well I appreciate the apology. It just doesn't feel good to be accused of cheating when you were playing fairly, regardless of the consequences, it makes you feel like you need to play the game -exactly- how it's expected, which removes a lot of the fun.

I wonder what happened to all the posts from the guy who was complaining about how yall are ban-happy though? Now it just looks like I'm talking to myself, oddly.
